Great Moments In Film – Big (1988)

I’ve already covered this movie in my Tom Hanks Top Ten List, I can’t think of anyone who hasn’t wanted to play on a keyboard as Hanks and the always great Robert Loggia does here. While the “dance,” is what’s remembered, pay close attention to Hanks: his facial expressions are just wonderful. He has this giddy look like a kid would have when playing with a friend. It’s infectious as Loggia can’t help but to join in.

An interesting tidbit: on the day of shooting this scene, there were two doubles that looked exactly like Hanks and Loggia on set, just in case they couldn’t pull it off. Of course, this made them vow to do it themselves. They were successful. Thanks imdb!
