Great Moments In Film – The Producers (1968)
Some more Mel Brooks goodness. As I’m sure you’re all aware, The Producers is about two men trying to cash in on a sure fire failure of a play called “Springtime For Hitler.” With a title like that, how could it not? This is the scene where the two leads (Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel) talk for the first time. Mostel plays the slimy bully part to perfection and Wilder is great as always. Just wait for the explosion.
