Great Moments In Film – Poltergeist (1982)

Poltergeist is a supernatural horror movie that goes from creepy to “WTF?” territory in the blink of an eye. It’s actually very well made (thanks in part to Steven Spielberg basically directing without getting credit for it) and there are some very iconic moments. This particular shot was done in a single take without any cuts whatsoever. I won’t tell you how they did it (it kinda devalues everything), but I’ve always loved this bit. For the record, this happens during the creepy part of the movie as this is one of the first moments that show things are about to get a little crazy.
