Great Moments In Film – Steamboat Bill Jr. (1928)

Now to revisit the never smiling Buster Keaton. Here we have Buster doing stunt after stunt during a cyclone. That’s about it, but since it’s Keaton, it’s great comedic entertainment. This bit does contain one of the most famous stunts of all-time. You’ll know it when you see it.

Trivia:  It is said that during the filming of the stunt I’m referring to, the cameraman started to shoot and turned away fearing for the worst. Very understandable as if Keaton missed his mark by even a few inches, he could have been seriously injured or even killed. The things we’ll do to make people laugh.
