Great Moments In Film – Dracula (1931)

I was asked to list my ten favorite horror movies. In it, there were two vampire films: 1922’s Nosferatu and 2008’s Let the Right One In. Thinking back on it, there really should have been three vampire flicks on my list as it pains me that I didn’t list Bella Lugosi’s iconic portrayal of the most famous undead bloodsucker: Count Dracula. It’s a role that made Lugosi immortal, even if it did type cast him. Here, we see Dracula welcome Renfield to his home. This short clip contains two legendary quotes that we all know and love. Lugosi is really great in this role. It’s still the one we compare all the rest to.
